It’s true. Identity theft does exist, but not nearly as much as the worldwide news machine would have you think. Because people have the perception that everyone online is out to get them, they won’t trust you readily. You need to show people you’re a living, breathing expert in your niche, that you know the difference between a good product and a crappy one, and that you’re willing to stand behind the product you offer. It’s crucial!
But you can go beyond the picture. You need to start thinking about creating video. It’s becoming the way of the Web, more and more, and eventually, typing will be a thing of the past. Plenty of folks don’t know how to type, and so, they don’t even get online. So, video makes it simple for them to participate.
Go to a site like Seesmic.com, which is perfect for affiliate marketing! You can use an inexpensive webcam, and then, just tell people what you want them to know about your product.
